Curbed Chicago: Luxury High-Rise Rental Tower Coming to the Gold Coast

The Sinclair will replace a Jewel supermarket.

The Sinclair apartment building has been in development since 2012. But now, the building is nearing its final height of 35 stories.

The apartment high-rise is located on the corner of Clark and Division in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood. And even though move-in day for tenants is still months away, the development is ramping up its marketing efforts. The Sinclair recently launched an official website, which gives potential owners an inside look at finished units and the amenities that will be made available.

The building, which was designed by local architect SCB, is a $200 million project. The Sinclair is set to replace a Jewel and contain 390 residential units. For now, specific unit pricing is still unavailable.
